About us
In the beginning
We established Capitus in 1997. From the outset we had only one very firm idea about what kind of company Capitus would be. We wanted to be known as a company that offered an excellent service. We could not achieve this by having an in depth technical knowledge of our subject alone.
We also had to have a direct and personal relationship with each and every client. We felt that if we maintained this philosophy in everything we did, our business would grow.
Ten years on
Since 1997, Capitus has grown in ways we could not have imagined. We have a wide variety of clients ranging from high nett worth individuals to FTSE 100 companies to major institutional property investors and have acted on projects ranging from large chains of pubs to landmark office buildings. To have gained the continuing confidence of these clients is something that we are very proud of.
And we are also proud of the people who work for us. They have a rare blend of technical knowledge, client focus and commitment.
We have now offices in London, Birmingham and Belfast and the services we offer our clients continue to grow to meet their needs. In accordance with trends in property investment the geographic areas in which we operate has increased, more recently with major projects in France, Spain, Netherlands and Germany.
We think we have come quite a long way in ten years and most importantly, we have really enjoyed the journey.
The next ten years
We are committed to continuing keeping up to date with developments in legislation and HMRC practice and have invested a lot of money in technology systems which will allow us to do this.
We are also increasingly aware of the need for capital allowances software systems in certain areas and with this in mind have established Capsoft LTD to develop two software products which will be tremendous benefit to our clients.
Our international tax depreciation services will be of continuing importance to us over the next two years and we will also be developing specific services aimed at inward investors.
Above all else we still want to be known as a company that offers an excellent service. In that, we shall never change.
